Castle Rock is home to many different species of mammals. Some you will see fairly regularly throughout the park such as California Ground Squirrels and Fox Squirrels. The park is also home to Raccoons Coyotes, Bobcats, Black-tailed Deer, Grey Foxes and Mountain Lions however it is unlikely that you will see them unless you are quiet and patient in the right areas.
