This portrait of Sarah Anderson was taken during a short break on a hike through part of Castle Rock regional park in February of 2015. She was a little tired but obviously happy to be out enjoying nature. The photograph was taken with a Sony Alpha A65 using a Minolta Maxxum 50mm F1.7 lens set to f2.0 in order to create a shallow depth of field and smooth Bokeh effect in the background. As it was quite bright and the aperature was open so wide the shutter speed was set to 1/1600th of a second.
